One Choice Can Change Your Life
Hard work = sacrifice?
I don't buy it. It doesn't have to be that way.
When you do work you love to do, you may work hard, however, it doesn’t suck the life force out of you.
It shouldn't be all-consuming such that it has you lose your health or connection with those you love most.
Yet, people reach out to me every week who are living this way.
One of those people was S. P.
A real estate broker who...
~ worked LONG HOURS,
~ never took time off, and
~ believed that WORKING HARD and being worthy meant SACRIFICING everything FUN in your life.
While she was wildly successful and had sold her 1st business, it came at a huge cost. She worked herself close to death… calling me from the hospital saying she wished she had listened to me and was ready to make a change.
No one plans for a heart attack, cancer diagnosis, or car accident… yet stress and overworking yourself have consequences.
In S. P.’s case, it cost her happiness, precious family memories - memories she would never have, and it almost cost her life.
When she got that being wealthy started with INVESTING in WHAT MATTERED most - and having the right priority - she was able to create not one but THREE BUSINESSES that she LOVED – that paid her BIG dividends. i.e. She's set for life and chooses to work vs. needing to work.
It took a bit of time to reprogram her belief that working yourself to the bone was the only path to making lots of money.
When she created a new vision for how her life could be and identified ways to make decisions that would give her that result, S. P. was able to create businesses that filled her with meaning and purpose and enjoy what she had built.
She deepened her relationships with her kids and grandkids, and continues to enjoy those rich relationships.
She travels regularly without impacting the businesses.
And, she's physically, emotionally, spiritually, and financially healthier than she’s ever been.
And, it all started with one CHOICE. A single choice: to let go of a belief that didn't serve her and opened up a new way of living and doing business.
~ Choice.
~ Direction.
~ Commitment.
~ Consistent Action.
Rinse and repeat.
Yes, there are moments of "hard"... yet, you can always choose not to suffer. It starts with remembering the vision.
You Get It.
And, if you need a little help to get started, send me a message.
I got your back… and a system that works.
ACTION: The Upside Challenge for the week is to identify a belief that is holding you in a pattern of suffering instead of succeeding.
Dig deep to ensure it's the root.
Decide to substitute a new belief that can motivate you and aligns with the life you want to live.
