When the calendar moves to December, you probably notice a shift in the energy of the people around you.
The clock is ticking and another year is coming to a close.
Did I accomplish everything I wanted to do?
Did I live up to my potential?
What you believe is magnified and heightened.
The holidays increase feelings of love or loneliness, fear or faith, magic or meltdowns.
I want you to stop what you’re doing right now and check in with where you are.
You see I’m all about leadership and how to use it to position yourself so that the people around you see you as an expert and you get rewarded for your brilliance.
Sometimes with all of the hustle and bustle you literally forget who you are.
So I want to remind you.
And, no one will ever have your very special life or the unique combination of gifts, talents, skills, and abilities that you bring to the planet.
Did you know that your fingerprints are different from anyone else’s on this earth?
Did you know that how you look at something is totally different than everyone else?
I have seen how when you position yourself so that people see and hear you, you get rained on with big opportunities.
The red carpet is rolled out and the doors swing wide open.
So, do what you are meant to do and be who you are meant to be.
ACTION ITEM: The Upside Challenge this week is to take out a piece of paper and make a list of the top 5 things you want to remember about yourself and 5 things you accomplished this year. Fold the paper and put it in your wallet or handbag. Pull it out when a thought or feeling creeps in and challenges your secret identity – your inner superhero.
The world is made for those who stand out, not those who fit in.
Yes, the world needs you.
How will you make a difference today?
