Have you ever found yourself struggling to make a major life decision wishing you had a crystal ball that would tell you which way was the "right" way?
Or perhaps the "right" direction would appear as a neon light, pointing the way?
One of the reasons big decisions can be challenging to make is because there are often different voices vying for your attention.
First, there is the message you hear in the quiet - that of your deepest wisdom.
Then, there is what your thinking mind tells you is the right way to go.
Often, these are different than what the people in your life think is best for you.
It can be challenging to figure out which voice to listen to, which is why learning how to tap into the Divine Operating System in order to tell the difference between your thinking mind and divine wisdom is critical in order for you to have ease show up on your journey.
Your thinking mind is driven by fear and often leads you down the "safe" path.
Your deepest wisdom is your inner guide ...
... and leads you in the direction that will allow you to fulfill your divine mission.
Because your thinking mind often chooses what to do based on fear,(i.e. fear of rejection, failure, or loss), vs. your spirit mind which makes decisions from a place of love and abundance, when you pause, it's easy to differentiate between the two.
Yet most people move so quickly that they can't hear the difference.
Your deepest wisdom chooses its course from a place of ethical alignment while your thinking mind seeks to please others, gain approval or feel good.
Although the decisions that come from your inner wisdom don't always make sense they always lead you to a place of joy vs. a place of regret.
If you find yourself struggling to make a decision, stop, notice, and ask yourself, "Am I making this decision out of fear or love? ...
... Is this decision in alignment with who I am and my core values?"
That's what the Upside Leaders program is all about ...
... how to connect to your inner wisdom ...
... use the Divine Operating System ...
... and bring this energy into every moment of your life.
When you do that, you overcome fear and self-doubt, and connect with the deepest part of you, allowing you to make decisions with ease that align with who you are.
ACTION: The Upside Challenge of the week is to pay close attention to how you are making your decisions.
What is the true motiviation? Fear or love?
If you have trouble discerning, try writing or having a conversation with yourself-- ask "Why am I doing this?" followed by, "Is that true?"
Keep asking until you hear the answer that fully resonates.
