Clarity.
It’s insurance that pretty much guarantees you will be successful and happy.
Think about that.
When you are clear about what you really want it’s easier to have the confidence to take the first step to getting it.
Research backs this up and it’s why I speak about commitment, not goal setting.
When you’re not clear, it feels like things in life happen TO you vs. FOR you.
Even things that feel or seem crummy have the ability to teach you something wonderful.
The three most important questions you can answer are:
~ Who Am I?
~ What Do I Want?
~ Why Does It Matter?
These answers are more than listing your titles or credentials.
Clarity also allows you to make the choice to move forward in the direction of your choosing.
When I want an answer to something, I take it to God.
This doesn’t mean I run off to church.
Where I go is on a walk … a God-walk on the farm. (I took three today ...)
Scientific research backs up the physical, mental and emotional benefits you get from being outdoors.
Spending time in nature calms the thinking mind and increases your ability to problem solve.
It also allows you to hear Divine wisdom - your pure truth.
When you do this, you lift the internal fog.
With practice, you’ll often get a tangible and visceral feeling about what you want … and how to move forward.
You can’t get the best answer to a problem when you solely use your thinking mind.
Did you know your gut brain sends more signals to your thinking mind than the other way around?
Often trying to simply think your way to a solution or through a problem will create more stress.
To make a full bodied decision, take the issue to nature.
Being in nature releases happy hormones.
You get to see, hear, smell, taste, and experience the world around you.
And asking those questions on a walk ...actually any questions ... will get you different answers than sitting in an office space with artificial lights.
So take a walk and just listen.
Because the world needs you and your brilliance.
ACTION: The Upside Challenge of the week is to increase the amount of time you spend outdoors and in movement.
If you have a pressing problem or situation you’re dealing with, this is especially important.
