My team always says that I have a lot going on.
And, they’re right.
But, I want to share my secrets with how it gets all done with you today.
1. Trust
While there are a lot of things pulling at my attention, I trust that whatever I need will show up when I need it.
This enables me to take action on the “big rocks” – what’s most important to me – right now.
When I do this, everything works. Easy-peasy.
More time, less stress, and more money. It’s as if I’ve discovered how to bend time.
2. No Gold-Plating (the act of doing more until you make something “perfect”)
When I operate from the place that my work is good, and not just good enough, I don’t worry about getting it perfect.
I simply trust that it’s exactly what it’s supposed to be and don’t spend hours agonizing or gold-plating.
Surprise! What happens is magical as it always turns out perfect!
3. Understand Your Brain
The billions of cells in your brain use electricity to send signals and communicate.
Millions of these signals are sent simultaneously causing a “brain wave” (as it rises and falls like a wave).
The majority of the population sees time in manageable blocks of time.
Creative, big picture individuals, however, always seem to “run out of time” because their brains see time as endless, seeing the grand vision all at once.
Get to know yourself and your brain better so that you get the results you want.
ACTION ITEM: The Upside Challenge for the week is to focus on #3 and understand your brain. Are you right-brained (creative and big picture)? If so, you need to recognize that fun is probably important to you – and this means that the specific details of knowing where you want to go isn’t necessarily exciting to you. What will you do to make it exciting? And, if you’re left-brained, you like structured, manageable blocks of time but the big picture may be a bit fuzzy. What will you do to ensure that you’ve got an exciting big vision?
Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely. Lead Upside.
Keep riding the Upside. It’s all Upside.
