Choosing to Lead the Way
It was 15 years ago when I first read Steve Jobs quote…
“Here's to the Crazy Ones…
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently…
Who have no respect for the status quo.
You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them.
But the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.
Because they change things.
They push the human race forward.
And while some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough
to think they can change the world,
are the ones
who do.”
That was years after he said it.
This was Apple’s way of letting you know that his product was for folks who think differently.
Over time, Apple’s played on this message ... dividing the camps into those "cool enough" to use their products and those who don’t.
I chose to take the path that was least traveled and took it as a call to arms to go deep into all things NOT Apple.
A round peg in a square hole, I learned how to adapt and create better using a variety of products.
Over time, colleagues told me I didn’t "need" the iPad (I have one) or the iPhone.
The bottom line is being someone who is able to think for themselves has always been a value of mine.
I’m not good with the status quo, scraping by like everyone else.
I’ve always wanted more.
》More opportunity.
》More money.
》More impact.
If that’s you, let’s travel together.
