How to Step Up, Stand Out, and Design Your Destiny

It’s Monday morning and I’ve heard lots of people are talking about the weekend.

For me, weekends are often about work.

In order to differentiate myself from my peers, I’ve invested “extra” hours most weekends to do what I do.

I learned that to get to where I want to go, I can’t put in the bare minimum.

Investing time, energy, and money in my business when others are mapping out their leisure time every weekend puts me two steps ahead of where they are.

At the end of the year, that’s a lot of steps ahead.

And it doesn’t matter if you choose to go out and party it up.

This is all about living YOUR priority, pillar #4 in my 7 Pillars of Leadership.

You get to choose.

Just don’t ask why other people get a break or have it so easy and you don’t.

I’ve made personal sacrifices that have turned into blessings as my business has grown.

And that happened over time.

In the beginning, my inner voice had potty mouth and would cuss me up and down with who the @!*# I thought I was and how I’d never (fill in the blank).

I got so good at connecting with these voices in a way that was compassionate that I’ve learned how to enjoy happiness, success, and meaning on my terms – without compromising who I am.

If you really want to differentiate yourself from others on the planet and make a difference, commit to living out your mission and purpose today.

Really commit.️‍

Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing.

What are you going to do to step up, stand out and design your destiny?

Because the world needs you and your brilliance now more than ever…

Oh, and this is what I get to do this weekend ~ answer that question with a client. Work with her mapping out how to design her destiny on her terms.

If you want this for you, reach out. Any time. I’d be happy to have a conversation…

ACTION: The Upside Challenge of the week is to identify what you want to do to step up, stand out, and design your destiny.

The actions you take today design your destiny.

The world needs you and your brilliance. Go shine your light.
