Have you ever had one of those days when you didn’t feel very Upside?!?
I know I have!
Recently, someone asked me how I do it — stay in a state of Upside – and I shared with them that it’s a conscious and intentional state of mind. However, I’m not Upside 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. (I have my moments….)
And, I bet you’re not either.
You may have wondered what I do to turn my thoughts around so I’m going to share the top 3 actions I take to keep my day moving Upside.
Step into gratitude.When I remember all that I have to be grateful for, something shifts for me. My list includes the people, places, and things that allow me to show up and be the best version of me. And, let’s face it – if you have a business or work for a great company, you’re probably better off than 98% of the world’s population. So, be grateful.
Step into possibility. My book Turn Possibilities Into Realities is all about moving from the thought “what if….” to creating what is. When I think about the doors that are opening for me, the incredible clients I’m blessed to work with, and the new opportunities that are unfolding, I have no choice but to be Upside.
Step into love. Love has been a big part of creating my Upside life. By shifting my focus to think about who I love and who loves me, I can feel my energy move. Often, I carry the letters and cards that clients, friends, and my husband have sent me to remind me of who I am and how lucky I am.
ACTION ITEM: The Upside Challenge this week is to be aware of what you need to do to ensure that you remain intentionally Upside in all you do.
