Growing up, my mom had a rule to keep the holidays relaxing and fun.
She finished all of her Christmas shopping and wrapping by December 1st.
The month of December was left for baking cookies, decorating, and holiday get-togethers.
Stress-free.
Last weekend, I participated in an inspiring Joint Venture Summit put on by Sharla Jacobs and Jesse Koren of Thrive Academy. (Some of you may remember me singing their praises at my 2014 Leadership Success Summit.)
The event was all about connection with hours of masterminding.
It was great to see some of my favorite people rocking their businesses and inspiring others.
When I got back, I was energized by the possibilities of creating new opportunities with people who showed up to support me.
Of course, I showed up to support them and share my resources, too. I think it’s magical when that happens.
All of this is so that 2015 looks differently than 2014.
I’m gearing up for the 2015 Leadership Success Summit and finishing up a new book – and it’s been a stress-free Christmas season because of my mom’s rule.
I’m also set on having 2015 my best year yet.
