My writing is a bit different this week but I thought it was an important message to share with you.
Today, I will face issues that I may perceive as problems.
In fact, I might even be tempted to call them problems.
In reality, they are not.
Not in light of what others are facing today.
Yes, there are people in neighborhoods throughout the United States and in all parts of the world who are experiencing earth shattering, life altering, bring-you-to-your-knees problems.
Problems that will cause their hearts to ache next week, next year, and over the course of a lifetime.
While I have had my share of hardship, I acknowledge my gloriously abundant, ever-so-peaceful, truly prosperous life.
And, yes, I’ll have experiences that make me sad today. I’ll even suffer setbacks, interruptions, and inconveniences as I go through my day.
But not problems.
As an Upside Thinker, I do know the difference.
My realization enables me to understand that my hard things aren’t so hard after all.
I can face setbacks without getting set back because I know what real problems are.
And what I have aren’t those.
I think it’s good to know the difference between an inconvenience and a real problem.
Don’t you?
ACTION ITEM: The Upside Challenge is to list 100 things you are grateful for in your life at this moment. And, trust me, you’ve got more than 100.
May this week be problem free for you as you recognize your countless blessings and are filled with gratitude.
Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely. Lead Upside.
